How do you view a single drop of water?
Do you ever take the time to slow down enough to view one individual drop of water upon a single blade of grass?
Taking that moment in time to be still - how do you view that drop? What do you see? Do you look upon the exterior, the shape and the light upon its edges? Do you see the reflection bounce back to you? A reflection of your self, so small it seems to barely exist, blended with the form of another? Or do you look within and through the immense strength of the drops walls to the inner light? The textures within that are all of the world. A perfect, complex blend of a background trapped within and yet untouched by the minuscule sphere that dangles precariously above. Perhaps that drop is simply us; each individual human.
How do you view another?
“The outer world is a reflection of the inner world. Other people’s perception of you is a reflection of them; your response to them is an awareness of you.” #roytbennett
