How do you review IBC without IBC actually taking place...
Well you don't obviously. You do something different.
What you do is focus on the innovation that is normally shown at IBC but in an online virtual space, which is exactly what my colleagues in the IET London Technical Network and the RTS are doing with their online event that is running tomorrow (14th October 2020) at 18:30 UK time (UTC+1).
As we are used to these days, this is webinar/live streamed event that you can drop in on and I do recommend it ... in fact I will be dropping in myself. The IET is a broad church and we love how the London Technical Network are focused on Media in this way, so much so that we have taken part in the event for the last couple of years but this year with this focused new format we are glad that the centre stage is being given to the innovations that could not get shown this year because of IBC being cancelled.
