How do you rate or When do you refer a book
I started reading just about 2 years back and have read about 30 so far. The first being COLIN POWELL's - It worked for me & the latest SHERYL SANDBERG's - LEAN IN.
Many where really eye-openers and brain catchers and some i left in the middle and i some didn't continue after paging over. Majority of the books were selected just by going through the index or an instinct that this reads cool. I have even completed reading some of these books in 2 days, despite my little boy hanging all over me for the book, one i remember is John Mcgrath's YOU, inc.
The real value of a book is when - You read 75 % of the book, went out for a stroll and you were able to visualize many scenes by standing in their shoes, that's when the writing has really inspired you, really motivated you. That's when we think "WOW' this is great for many that belong to our category. Let me rate and refer this great book to all in my network.
We need to help the next generation think better, But HOW ?? We need to share them experiences, in the form of stories. We need to tell them stories, stories help them visualize, dream, think outside.
KEEP READING & always share the rating & review based on the emotions that went through.....
