First things first - Monitor the Server & Applications with the aptly named Server & Application Monitor (SAM). Simply select the number of servers (nodes) you wish to monitor and get the appropriate license.
Then decide how many servers you would like to monitor the configurations on and select the appropriate Server Configuration Monitor (SCM) license.. maybe just the critical ones..These products seamlessly integrate on the SolarWinds? Orion? Platform.
Easy..
