How do you learn when scrum runs at such a pace
Alex Crossley
Simplifying how to stay ahead by delivering value to customers continuously and sustainably by coaching business people and technologists to work together.
Imagine you're a junior software developer in a team, and they're always on delivery or always planning and delivering every two weeks. How do you learn well?
Scrum has learning built in. The junior developers should take from that backlog, and give it a go. Then, within two weeks they will get the chance to review and retrospectively see how they did on that item. It may not make production, but that's okay because they gave it a go and you learn on the job.
The good news is because we have the practices of review and peer review within the team you will learn incredibly quickly.
I think that's the most effective way of learning personally on the job rather than training courses, etc. But it's up to you to give it a go!
