On my way to work this morning I watched Bruce Schneier talking at the Infosecurity Europe 2015 Hall of Fame Alumni. When you travel by public transportation you have plenty of time to keep up with current events and opinions ;-). He talked about rapid Breach Detection and Effective Response To Minimise Incident Impact. And covers the Sony Breach by North Korea. The presentation was called How Do You Know You've Been Breached?
I have to confess I am sort of a fan of Bruce Schneier because of his levelled approach on (Information) Security and his refusal to sacrifice privacy and the freedom of a modern Democracy to an overzealous security apparatus. And I must say, again, he raised some interesting issues and questions which we as a security community and as a society should ask ourselves and come up with answers.
