Ideally, Agile Mindset Readiness efforts should begin ahead of, or in tandem with the Agile Transformation.

In fact, Agile Mindset Readiness Principle #1 teaches: “Agile Mindset readiness is the first step toward building an Agile Mindset culture and must be a deliberate intentional effort.”

However, the reality is many organizations put the cart before the horse by launching Agile ways of working ahead of Agile ways of thinking and being.

The good news is it’s never too late for an organization to take a stance on adopting an Agile Mindset Readiness culture, a collective way of thinking, being and working that enables Agile values.

Agile Mindset Readiness Principle #3 teaches: “Adopting an Agile Mindset culture starts with a top-down approach of leading by example and defining what an Agile Mindset culture means to the organization.”
