Psalm 9:3 My enemies turn back; they stumble and perish before you.

When we read this verse we can get excited that the Lord will be the upholder of justice and fight our battles against our adversaries! But we better be careful what we ask for. God will adjust what is against Him... including the adversaries we hold within ourselves. God will fight to eliminate our enemies like pride, greed, lust, judgment, and any other enemy that wants to bring us down. So when you ask God to eliminate your 'enemies', don't be surprised that He isn't focusing on the guy standing in your way up the corporate ladder, or the guy who cut you off, or a politician you don't like... He is likely going to start with the enemies within you. Let God help eliminate your enemies and have a blessed day!
