How do you get a place at an elite university?

Good grades alone are not enough to gain admission to an elite university. Universities critically look at their applicants, ask for essays, recommendations and take tests. Soft skills and extracurricular activities play an increasingly important role in the selection of applicants.?

Some of our graduates have grand academic ambitions and will apply to top universities after their IB Diploma. To provide them with the best possible support, we are launching the Honors Program. Starting next school year, the most?ambitious of our upper school students will be able to participate in extracurricular courses, coaching sessions, and excursions. This will allow them to work on their personal profile and write their applications with professional support.?

My son Benedict Stolle is a graduate of the COLOGNE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL - Internationale Friedensschule K?ln . He is currently an honors student at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University and has significantly benefited from the privilege of joining an honors program. He wants to give something back to his old school and is therefore introducing the Honors Program. He has been a working student at our company since 2022 and gained the support of our esteemed colleague Olivia Ciacci for the project. Olivia came from the U.S. and taught at schools in Pennsylvania and New York, where she gained a lot of experience with similar programs.

?Olivia and Ben are preparing six units, 40 classes, four projects, and three trips for the Honors Program. The trips are highlights of the program and include the Venice Biennale and a political experience in Brussels.
