How do you engage with change?

As September unfolds, does it feel also feel to you as though the world begins anew?

For me, much like January, September signals a shift—a time when routines change, new goals are set, and I often feel the energy of potential in the air! It's a month of transitions: children return to school, the seasons shift, and for many of us, there is a sense of forward movement.?

In coaching, we recognise that change can be both invigorating and challenging. So let September invite you to reflect on how you engage with these moments of change, both personally and professionally.?

If you're a current trainee enrolled in our?Level 1 Coaching Diploma?the journey has already begun. You've embarked on this path of growth, not just for yourselves but also for your future clients. Every session, every lesson, every interaction brings new insights, tools, and opportunities to deepen your understanding of the art and science of coaching. I encourage you to embrace the changes that come with this learning—whether they are shifts in perspective, the development of new skills, or the inevitable moments of self-reflection that arise.

Looking ahead, we are preparing for the start of our ICF & AC Accredited?Advanced Diploma in Integrative Coaching, kicking off in October. For those of you moving into this phase, this marks another significant step in your coaching journey. The Advanced Diploma is not just a deeper dive into the principles of coaching but an opportunity to specialise and refine your approach. It's a time to bring your unique coaching identity into sharper focus.

Personally, September always feels like a time to pause and consider how I embrace change. Whether it's in my coaching practice or my personal life, I'm often reminded that change is the only constant (I know it's a bit cliche but holding that in my mind helps!) Rather than fearing it, I've learned to welcome it, to see it as an opportunity for growth and renewal. This doesn't mean it's always easy— I face moments of uncertainty and hesitation. But I ask myself: What can I learn here? How can this?change?help?me?evolve?

As you move through the seasons I encourage you to reflect on your relationship with change. In what ways are you inviting it in, and how are you navigating its complexities? This is your time to not only grow as a coach but also as a person, capable of holding space for others as they face their own transformations.?

I wish you a month of growth and new beginnings!

Accreditation News for Advanced Diploma

We are excited to let you know that the:?

Advanced Diploma in Integrative Coaching is now accredited by both the ICF and the Association for Coaching (AC)!

Completing this program offers numerous benefits, including multiple certificates that you can take on a modular basis, making its delivery more flexible than the Level 1. This means that you complete a number of Certificates across the Year to reach the required ICF (Level 2) and AC (ADCT) training.

One core programme within the Advanced Diploma is the?Certificate in Advanced Coaching Skills, where you build on the Level 1 Diploma by receiving detailed feedback to enhance your coaching practice. You practice your coaching, observe multiple sessions and get feedback on your own coaching in line with the ICF and AC markers. Alumni who have completed the Level 2 always give us feedback as to how useful this is!

Additionally, you'll earn two niche coaching certificates, choosing from?Career,?Leadership,?Wellbeing, or?Somatic?Coaching. This diversity helps you tailor your expertise to specific client needs, maximising your coaching potential.

?Understand the Components of Empathy

In coaching our desire to help is natural, but it can sometimes hinder true progress. This blog explores why empathy, rather than advice, is key to effective coaching. By creating a space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to find their own solutions, coaches can foster self-discovery without imposing their own agenda. In this blog we explore how empathy allows coaches to stay present, maintain healthy boundaries, and guide clients towards meaningful, self-directed growth. If you're looking to enhance your coaching skills or better understand the power of empathy in client relationships, this post offers valuable insights for your development.
