How do you "create" want?
What does it take to create the "want" to do anything for anyone, at anytime? Just one of the many things that I am currently writing about. Just curious as to what you think it takes. Thank you for those who choose to take their time to address this issue. God bless us all.

8 年Excellent question Lamonte Florence. My response is to refer you to Adrian Slywotsky's book "Demand: Creating What They Love Before People Want It" Slywotsky was named by Industry Week one of the world’s six most influential management thinkers. When asked, during an interview, the question "Can you actually create demand--or are you just getting lucky?" he responded "Smart companies recognize that we often can’t articulate what we really want… and that "creating" demand is often just a matter of recognizing untapped demand. Demand "creators" identify hassles that bedevil all of us–and instead of simply accepting them, they ask: "Do they have to be this way?" Reed Hastings founded Netflix after a personal frustration with a $40 late fee. By making the leap from the way things are to the way they should be, he unleashed demand… to the tune of $2BN."

8 年Creating want is essentially creating thirst, something that people need, want more of, are enticed to take in more. Language will get you everywhere. Ever use NLP?
