How do you choose the color of your tie ?

As a sales professional i put a suit and tie almost every single working day , even if i don't have meetings that day i would still put it because you never know, when it comes to choosing the tie color i usually base my decision on 3 simple questions who I am meeting today ? Is it the first time meeting that person or not ? What is the Objective of the meeting ?

Here is how i prefer to do it :

• My favorite approach is to match my tie color with my Client's brand color , this is why you would find several ties in my car :) 
• I usually choose a red tie if i am meeting someone for the first time or if am pitching a presentation that day. 
• Blue , green or any light color are ideal if I am meeting a regular client
