How do you celebrate your team???

How do you celebrate your team???

Dear Readers,

March 3rd is Employee Appreciation Day—a day for recognizing the hard work and dedication of your team members. After all, they are the ones who make your organization successful every day.

Employee Appreciation Day is an opportunity to show gratitude while acknowledging the efforts of your colleagues. It's a great day for pausing, reflecting on the contributions of your colleagues and employees, and saying, "Hey, I appreciate you!" Who doesn't like to hear that every now and then, right?

Make sure to take a moment to celebrate and recognize your team members for their outstanding work this week. And I encourage you to begin making gratitude and recognition a DAILY part of your leadership.

What creative ways can you think of for expressing gratitude and appreciation for your team?

Yours in courage,

Bill

Development Works

Some people doubt that training can develop leadership skills, and think that people are either born with what it takes to be a leader or they aren’t. I was unsure if development worked because leadership did seem to come more naturally to some people than others.

Now, though, benefitting from thirty years of evidence, I know leadership development works and it is one of the best ways to show your team that you appreciate them enough to help them grow.

Your leadership team isn't leading as effectively as they should be. Morale is too low. Some employees are high maintenance. Productivity is down. Your organization isn't where you want it to be. You're frustrated because your leaders have more potential. You just wish they were aligned with your vision and have the ability to inspire true commitment in others throughout the organization.

You need a way to train your leaders to be as invested in your goals as you are. The Leadership Essentials Academy can help.
