How do you ask questions of yourself?
The RIGHT questions have power.
What if, instead of asking...
"How can I make a gazillion dollars so I can retire?"
We asked...
"How can I retire so I can make a gazillion dollars?"
What if we just assumed that was a better question?
Because our work now was the true constraint keeping us from the gazillion dollars? and retiring was the answer that'd free us up?
What if every time our little selves popped up on our shoulder and whispered, "Impooooosible."
We turned to our other shoulder, where our freedom angel sits and listened to the calling of "Impossible UNLESS..."
It could be miraculous!?

1 年My question is, why do people want to retire? Work has always been an adventure for me, though it was a pressure cooker at times. I guess a good retirement is doing the kind of work one wants.
