Web Development Phases (Simplified) — By Sai Charan Venna
The process of creating a website involves several stages, each with its own objectives, roles, and outcomes. To create high-quality websites.
Let’s briefly discuss each of the steps below.
1. Brainstorm/Planning Phase. In this phase, We will define the website’s purpose, target audience, goals, and most desired features this includes working on the User Problems to find the best solution. Then, the project’s goals will be seton.! and a project plan will be created. For example, if you’re creating a website for a small bakery, you might plan to show the bakery’s menu, location, and contact information, and allow customers to place orders online.
2. Design Phase. In this phase, the visual and structural design of the website will be created, including the layout, colour palette, and typography. The design should be user-friendly and responsive across all devices. For example, You might select colours, fonts, and images that reflect the bakery’s branding and create a mockup or prototype of the website’s layout. There are different Tools Available for design and I personally prefer Figma. Let's make a detailed another Dedicated video About that Soon.!

3. Development Phase. This phase involves converting the website design and content into a working fully functional website. The developer team gives the structure, functionality, and features of the website, such as the navigation system, forms, and e-commerce capabilities. In General, at this phase, you build the website using programming languages and the relevant Frameworks. For example, you might create web pages for the bakery’s menu, location, and contact information, and add functionality to allow customers to place orders online.
4. Testing Phase. When the website has been Developed, we need to check for major/minor faults, problems, and compatibility issues in different browsers and so on. The website is strictly tested at this phase to verify that it is functional, user-friendly, and error-free. Some of the casual and major errors like Broken links, browser compatibility, and load speeds are all checked during testing. For example, you may test the website on various browsers and devices to confirm that it appears and performs properly.
5. Deployment Phase. After the website is finished and completely tested, and found with no Errors. It is ready to be released publicly. As soon as the website is uploaded to a server, users can access it.
6. Maintenance Phase. Once the website is live, live maintenance is required to keep it up-to-date and functioning properly. For example, you might update the website’s content and fix any bugs or errors that arise over time.
