How do we keep up with the bots?

We need to acknowledge that very soon many parts of our industry will not be able to compete with the computational solutions that AI and automation are bringing.
Resist the urge to use technology defensively “just to keep up†without a plan. Strategically define the processes and interactions that should be scaled. Do not overlook what we have that is most difficult to reduce down to a series of if-then statements…
Human connection and creativity.
The random unpredictability that comes from combining diverse talents has value and will not be fully duplicated by any computer in my lifetime. So how do we leverage this?
We admit that we need each other. There is no individual program, app, person or group of persons, no matter how productive, that will solve all of our issues from the industry down to the individual level.
Being an innovator means not just embracing new tech, but also imagining functions and solutions for scenarios that do not exist
says Danny Sinopoli in the Octover 2020 issue of Azure Magazine
Imagination is still unique to humans. Exercise yours while this is still true.
I will be attending Autodesk University this week looking for just such opportunities for these random connections that lead to creative solutions. Instead of fearing or trying to keep up with the bots, find ways to team up, ask questions and figure out how to make the bots work for us.
The bots still need us more than we need them…for now ??
