I help CEO's/ business owners/ businesses to uplift their company's ?????????????????? ???????????????????????? for stronger people at home & work, increasing your profit. Find out more??
In our profession there is so much to know! If you are anything like me, you subscribe and follow many people in the Industry in order to remain current, and to improve ourselves as coaches continuously. So there will be many emails, webinars, summits, newsletters that cross our desk every day. How do we not suffer from overwhelm, given the amount of information available to us?
Firstly, be selective in who you subscribe to and follow. Ensure that they are thought leaders in their field. And secondly, limit yourself to information on your niche areas and specialities. I would like to clarify this last statement- this doesn't mean that you must be so laser focused that you don't have an open and curious mind to other information which is not in your niche. It means that you must prioritize the information in your niche or speciality area. Make sure that keeping up to date with your niche is something you factor into your weekly or monthly schedule.
I also find it valuable to file away important information on a variety of coaching subjects. As the emails or newsletters come in, I copy and paste the information and file it away under the respective headings. Then when I need to research a topic eg Emotional Resilience, I then have a lot of the latest information at my fingertips.
