How Do People Know You Exist?

If a business dies in the woods and nobody knows it’s gone, did it ever really exist?

I cannot count the number of people who’ve sat across the table from me, talking about their business for hours and a simple question stops them in their tracks:

“How do people know you exist?”

The question is simple, cuts through marketing BS, and gives you a place to get started growing your audience.

You can write the best blog posts in the world, but will a stranger see it? Maybe you make the world’s best waffles. Does anyone but you know about them?
