How do I score high in GMAT?

First step is to take one section at a time.

If you plan to start your preparation with verbal, take one section of verbal.

To explain how to study, I am taking an example of “ how to prepare for Sentence correction(SC)”

In SC, we need to focus on two things

1. Grammar
2. Right approach to solve questions

First, let’s understand how to learn grammar.

Take one topic at a time. Memorize the theory of that topic in such a way that you can give a presentation on that topic. Mostly we have a habit of reading the theory concepts. Don’t make that mistake. Make sure you memorize each topic.

Next, let’s understand how to master approach.

When you start solving questions, you will get some questions correct and some will be wrong. For correct questions, invest time in finding others ways to solve question.

For wrong questions, don’t seek explanation to that question from any source. Invest as much time as it takes to solve that question yourself. If you solve each question that you get wrong yourself, with each question your confidence will increase.
