There are several stages in the process of making Changes in your Life...
Stage 1: Precontemplation.
When you never ever thought of making a change. "I'm fine."
Stage 2: Contemplation.
When you think "Maybe I should...learn something new to improve myself? or
Maybe I should change my eating habits to be healthier?"
Don't stop here...
Stage 3: Preparation/Determination.
Thinking about what things your need to change in your current life (Ex: get rid of the junk food in the kitchen)
Feel that excitement!
Stage 4: Action.
Starting your new project or improvement. Finish the first step!
Stage 5: Maintenance.
Keep doing it. At some point, you may Quit... Then, importantly, pick it back up and start again!
