"Find the right maxim: *failure is an opportunity to learn *fail forward *if you aren't failing, you are not growing *fail fast, learn always *great success generally grows out of failures etc.
In each case, aspirations exceed current resources and learning and growth come from reaching out. So, when I fail (and I do often), I pause, reflect, analyse, and learn, then try again and again and again."
"I've experienced a lot of it in my life and business, and have written and shared about it too.
Overall, my take is this - without failure, there is far less opportunity to understand yourself deeply and learn what you really want, hone the directions you're pursuing, recognize who and what you want in your life, and understand what needs to be.....

2 年leadersHum If you haven't failed enough times before succeeding, your life skills haven't been honed hard enough to define you as a "hard nut to crack" when the going gets tough.

2 年I'm certainly not someone who wakes up every morning, looks at myself in the mirror, and says: "Hey Tabitha, let's see what we can fail miserably at today." ??♀? But when a day like that happens - and let's be honest here, they absolutely do - when I shut down for the night, I try my hardest to view the experience with a lot of gratitude, since it's an opportunity to learn and grow.
