As we know, use of AI is a relatively new practice, and its acceptance among hiring managers vary. Some view it as a useful tool that can save time and improve the efficiency, while others are skeptical of the quality and authenticity of an AI-generated applications.
But if they can tell, makes all the difference.
Of coruse there are potential advantage of AI-generated job applications as they can help reduce bias in the hiring process. Since AI algorithms don't have personal biases, they may be better at identifying candidates based on their skills and qualifications, rather than factors such as race, gender, or age.
It can be very useful in screening resumes and applications, but it cannot replace the personal touch of a human manager. The best approach is to use AI as a tool to help identify qualified candidates, but then have a human review the applications and conduct interviews to ensure that the candidate is the right fit for the job and the company as a whole.
On the other hand, some hiring managers are concerned that AI-generated applications lack the personal touch that human-written applications can provide. They worry that the applications are not accurately reflect the candidate's personality or writing style, which will not convey the candidate's passion and motivation for the job.
Ultimately, whether hiring managers accept AI-generated job applications, in this day and age, can be hard to assess so ultimately, it depends on the specific quality of the application itself.

At the end of the day, if the application is well-written and provides relevant information about the candidate's skills and experience, it will be viewed positively by a hiring manager and if it is poorly written or fails to convey the candidate's qualifications effectively, it viewed with skepticism and rejected outright...and it doesn't matter who wrote it.
Do a great job...get noticed.
Don't and it won't.
It's that simple.

1 年There is nothing to be afraid of, as some people have already said, only add what you know. At the end of the day, your performance will be tested in a closed interview. Nobody here wants to ruin their name at any company. However it can be used to create resumes/cover letters tailored specifically and worded the same as what the JD says. If it says "Requires 3-5yrs of HVAC knowledge" You can ask AI the following: "Here are a list of my skills and experience, tailor them and create an explanation to conform with "Requires 3-5yrs of HVAC knowledge" Then whatever it generates is up to you for modification. This is a game changer to many individuals who are extremely talented but fail to express that talent on paper. AI is closing the gaps and creating the accessibility government's have spent millions on but failed to deliver tangible results.

1 年The same applies to fill out a job application, as long as you know the value that you have as a professional, there is no need to be afraid of your values. What you have to be is honest with the people who will give you the job and demonstrate your abilities. , Can you imagine everything that can be done with the information in real time that all imaginable devices can send? And as always, the companies that make the best use of the information about all of you if you are a real entrepreneur honest with yourself, you will have a significant advantage over others. A business opportunity, at the right time to carry out a business idea and make it profitable. Not everything can be considered as such, only those ideas from which the feasibility of obtaining benefits when implemented is perceived. The important thing is to speak honestly, about real things, situations where everyone wins a little but wins, because if you don't explain well, they will consider you a liar or a scammer. Do not speak or offer things or businesses that you do not have in your hands, be honest with yourself and with others, do not waste the time of serious business people.
