So, when Digital India was launched many FinTech companies / Startups started and they introduced many payment services but side by side the Government of India did offer Aaadhar Authentication online, opening 480 Jan Dhan Accounts for those who did not have any access to the banks and then offerin social schemes benefit to then through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) in these accounts by a click of a button. UPI(Unified Payment Intreface) is a huge success and India clocks nearly 40 % of global digital transactions each month and yearly. The digital payments systems are used by small vendors even in villages and india has about 800 million smart mobile users and 600 million are using internet. its 2 lakh and 70 k villages are connected with Fibre Optic links. So, digital payments and use Digital transition of businesses became a reality even during pandemic.

India has switched over to online teaching during Covid 19 and it became success and then switching over to Hybrid Systems so India did develop its Digital services gradually & consistently providing all the incentives to the industry, businesses, and to the start ups. So many unicorn are operating as Fintech, edutech and in otrher spheres of life. So, a digital back bone has been established now by India up to the villages and for use of small vendors. farmers, students , MSMEs, and retail businesses online.

Codid 19 authentication and production of certificate online was also a biggest Digital transformation after UPI in India along with DBT and GST collections online. So, is the filing of Income tax Returns online. So, nearly all the government services are provided online and government procurement take place through GeM portal. All the social schemes transfer are through DBT so all the leakages are plucked. Now , incentives nearly $14 billion for semiconducters design, fabrication and manufacturing has been provisioned and it shall go a long way when India shall be doing hardware manufacturing in a big way to support further the Digital transformation and manufacturing of Micro, High Tech and Nana Electronics devises in India so to make it a global hub for all kind of manufacturing. india has already set up deciated missions for AI, Quantum Computing, Cyber Security, Robotics and Drones is going to drive further push to Digital transformation in India.

It is in short that I have brought out the information about Digital Trransformation in India in last 09 years led by Narendra Modi that has made Indian Economy doing so well that it moved from 10 th place to 05 largest economy as implimenting biggest ever inclusive development campaign on this earth. It is also pertinent to mention that India has brought its Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and also a Cyber Security Policy is in place. Nearly , 95,000 start up that has come up in last 05 years are using Digital Plateforms and Digital Spending has doubled in last 09 years. It is further stated that due to digitalisation India did unprecedented progress during Covid 19. The digital data use is going to double by 2030 and Digital Economy is going to be a $1 trillion by 2027-28.

By all these efforts in place India has become 2nd largest producer of mobile phone in just last 05 years.Digital Currency piolet have been completed by many PSBs and Private Banks in some regions of India and they are extreamly successful so India is also on the verge of introduction of Digital Currency at an appropriate time as it shall have a very effective impact on curruption as ruppees 2000 note has already been withdrawn by the RBI and may be rupees 500 note is also withdrawn by the next year so, the biggest note shall be only rupees 200 note in circulation from mid 2024 onwards.
