I'd argue that they're a key part of the tech element, but they're not transformative in themselves. I believe we should distinguish between digitisation, digitalisation and digital transformation. APIs may be used in any of those. However, transformation is about people and processes; the tech is simply an enabler. What are your thoughts on this?
