Industry 4.0 How difficult it is for Industrial Automation Solutions Companies to survive with feasible Industry 4.0 IOT Projects?

Giving Solutions to IoT challenges is not that much easy as you imagine. Most of the solutions are in the Air. You know what can be done but your issue is feasibility. Everything you have in your academic / Research Lab is not a feasible solution to monetize and survive in this competitive world of the Industrial Automation solutions market.

For example, providing a solution for Integrating Wireless Sensor Networks into the Internet Of Things For Security includes many objects like RFID tags, sensors, actuators, computers, phones etc. I have given a long list of solutions or projects very effectively done in the Lab environment. These need to be implemented in the field or actual designations.

The challenge is to train an Electronic Engineer in the lab environment in one domain and port him in the field for multiple requirements. Training, Retraining, and Retaining the key Implementor itself is a challenge. Then comes the issue of what works in a clean air-conditioned environment inside your lab may not work in the actual environment at a 50-degree Centigrade dusty environment.

Then the most essential criteria, are the afford-ability of the solution and the maintainability of the solution by the client. Now, try and access this long laundry list of IoT projects and their feasibility in actual implementation. Most of the Startups in this segment are doing a Trail and Error implementation and not a feasibility-based implementation. To do a feasibility-based implementation you should understand these segments.
