Friestofit is a nutrition consultancy business based out of Mumbai. Deepsikha Jain founded Friestofit to help people accomplish their fitness goals.
People want to be fit but lack the proper nutritional diet & support to hit their fitness goals. That's where they come in with their services.
Their services range from 1 to 6 months long subscriptions. It includes 1:1 consultations, WhatsApp & email support for doubts, personalised diet plans and unconditional accountability & support.
In the last 4 years, they have served 900+ clients to achieve their fitness goals.

Challenge:
Deepsikha started Friestofit in 2020 as an Instagram account & got her initial clients for the nutrition consulting business.
By mid-2022, she had served over 400+ clients. She started facing the following problems as the business grew:
"As the business grew, communication & management of so many clients over WhatsApp became my biggest challenge."
Because of these problems:
- she was feeling frustrated for not being able to simplify things.
- she was manually managing her business operations.
- she felt like giving up many times.
She needed a solution that could solve these problems & that's when her discussion with me started.
Solution:
Deepsikha knew me through our mutual. I proposed building a custom software with Glide to solve her business problems. She agreed & we started working in June 2022.
We have a 5-step process for working with clients. The first two steps involve consultation & building a project architecture (P.A.). For this, we charge a flat fee of $500 to clients to get started.
Here, our business analyst builds a detailed BRD & FRD of your process/idea after doing multiple interviews with you. Based on the output of project architecture, we identify the right tech stack, timelines & exact commercials for the project.

In the project architecture phase, the team was not just patiently listening to me. But also consulting me on what can be done ahead. I was in a proper loop at each step of the app building.
We identified the following to be built as the output of the P.A. phase:
Welcome Page: When a user signs in to the app, they come to the welcome page. It consists of about us, social links of Friestofit & testimonials of past clients.
Buy a membership: Users can see different membership plans from 1 to 3 months, their prices, how to make the payment via UPI/net-banking & upload payment screenshots in the app.
Book a time: Once the payment is done, they can book a time for their consultation call with Deepsikha.
Profile: Before their call with Deepsikha, they have to fill in their measurements and answer a questionnaire in the app in profile section. They can also check latest diet & their membership information from the profile.
Add membership: Once the admin receives payment, they can add membership to a new client.
Add Diet: When the consultation call is done, the admin can upload a new diet plan for the user, which shows in the user's profile.
Analytics: The admin can see total users, potential leads, total memberships, active memberships and new monthly onboarded users in the app.
Notifications: Users get reminders about the expiration of their membership before & after its expiration, a new diet plan to be followed etc.
Automations: We build WhatsApp & email automations for the admin & users. As soon as the user uploads the payment screenshot in the app, a Whatsapp notification goes to the admin team. Users are sent automated emails after signing up, diet updates or expiration of their subscription.
Within 4 weeks, we provided her the 1st version of the app.
Even after receiving the app, if there were any bugs in the app, I used to just message them, and they would quickly fix it. The response time was pretty fast.
With the app in place, the following changes happened:
- her entire business was simplified with a simple app.
- her complete business operations became automated.
- client's trust has been boosted due to increased professionalism.
- more free time improved her response time to the client's doubts.
- her work of constantly messaging clients for each step has reduced.
- she can check all the details of her clients with a single click in the app.
So there's proper coordination, lesser confusion & crisper work in her business.
Instead of doing any manual work, I am entirely focused on doing my USP: consultation calls with clients & solving their doubts.
Results:
The app has been a great support for her, her team & her clients.
Since implementing the app:
- The client renewal rate is now 80%.
- The business has grown 2X in the last 20 months.
- They have saved 8-10 hours per week totaling about 800 hours of manual labor saved.
