How did Lincoln show himself to be an effective leader?

Lincoln has shown himself as an effective leader through his leniency and compassion towards his opposition Member with kind words and dialogue.

Never compromised on his principles in such a hectic war-mongering situation. 

He used patience to analyze the situation, listened to all of his ears, and gave his statement after deep thinking. 

One of the most important skills he had was the art of communication with his tremendous amount of knowledgeable stories, and the people loved it when he used to start talking.

When people used to give him the comfort he'd say "in time like this id better be alone"

Furthermore, he'd easily socialized with anyone from lower-ranked to high officials and this is most likely favorable Leadership abilities.

How has Lincoln shaped implicit ideas about today's leadership?

He has given a unionistic approach to leaders of today's Era. In order to meet your goal, you must reach the heart of a basic man to win over and that must be through dialogue, not by imposing your thoughts through different means.

Lincoln used this art of communication to overcome the Opposition people with such a huge amount of patience and social behaviors. 

He had used a sociopath and empathize conduct in such turmoil of civil war differentiating personal burdens of the family from Government affairs.

In addition to that Lincoln identified the common problem of every citizen they are facing, but not just with his electoral Technocrats & Democrats but he himself paid visits to common citizens to hear everyone's problems.

He showed simplicity in all forms to portray humble gestures to his citizens that his work is for the betterment of their own citizens Which carved out a Trustable spark in the hearts and minds of his people.

This led to the conclusion that whoever or wherever there be a Leader rising among his citizens; he should follow the same, simple yet powerful and effective principles of Lincoln. Whether you belong to any society or culture. if you stand by Truth, being honest and open to bear criticism. Thus you'll engrave out a path for your citizens to trust you and believe in yourself.

“Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted shall exist within united states or any place subject to their jurisdiction”

“Congress shall have the power to enforce this amendment by appropriate legislation”
