HOW DID THE INSPIRATION TO WRITE FIRST COME TO ME
A marketing company recently asked me many questions about my book “Am I A Coach”.
After thinking about the inquiry and the responses I sent back, I decided that these questions would be a terrific liftoff! And a pretty good way to talk about the book and my reasons for writing it before posting it on social media.?
So here you go. For several upcoming weeks, I will be blogging my questions and thoughts about the book Am I A Coach.?

THE INSPIRATION
I have spent many hours sitting at linen-covered tables listening to a speaker or a fellow table sitter talk about business ideals. Too often, I left with a feeling of disconnect.?
I am a small business owner and knowledgeable in business, but the words and information imparted during the lunch/dinner conversations didn’t hold meaning for me. These meal times didn’t focus on the joys and challenges of small business owners, leaders, managers, and staff.?
So, I set out to do something about it. Hence, the book.
When writing the book, I committed to sharing real stories about the people I worked with on a daily basis, real stories about myself, and real stories about my interactions with others.?

I cover stories of loss, encouragement, intention, feelings, education, leanings, and behavior in the book.
In a nutshell, this is what I wrote to the marketing company.
“I am committed to sharing information with other business owners, leaders, and people interested in what one person can do for self-development, education, and improving the lives of oneself and others. I wrote weekly blogs about daily experiences in my life and the small business I owned. The stories bring human events and actions into focus for the interested reader.”
