How Did I Wind Up Here?

Have you ever asked yourself the question, "How did I wind up here?"

Through?interviews, coaching, casual chats and coaching groups, I've coached and witnessed?hundreds of conversations this year. Not once have I heard a straight line story from where a person?began to attaining what they want in any area of life. There are, however, some traits and tendencies that seem to be determining factors in whether someone actually accomplishes what they set out to do. I share two of them with you here, because I believe that these are enough.

1. They know what they want and why they want it.

2. They commit to changing what they need to change within themselves to experience the desired outcome.

Sounds simple, because it is.?

Difficult? It certainly can be.

It can also be a playful, productive and pleasant process.

Instead of asking, "How did I wind up here?", in 2 sentences, how would you answer these questions?

What do I really want and why?

What 3 things could I change in myself that would allow me to have it?

What if you started

• fully?understanding that much, much more is possible for you

Consider the terminology that relates to aging, as you?embrace an opportunity to enhance your perspective and expand your vision!

Chronological Age- the amount of time that has passed from a date of birth to a given date.

Subjective Age or Psychological Age refers to how individuals experience themselves as younger or older than their actual age.

Age Identity is a subjective, perspective. Similar to gender, race, and ability, age identity includes physical, biological and sociocultural aspects of life.

Ageism refers to the stereotypes, prejudice and discrimination towards others or oneself based on age.

How old would you be if you didn't know your chronological age?

What would you do if age was not a factor?

What if Ageism was only something you entertain in your own mind?
