How did I make it to Times NY

Hello everyone, most of you know me from my Linkedin, but let me share my whole journey till date in this post so that you may relate to this fact that Success does not come easily and no one gets famous overnight

I started my Youtube channel in 2017, got around 3.8K subscribers and starting teaching algorithms for free on Youtube. (Note: Monetisation was not active till 3 years) but i kept on making videos, because money was never my intention

People started calling me sir, when I was in 3rd year of my Btech, which gave me immense respect and brought tears to my eyes as I was just 22 and I received a lot of love on youtube. Because of this, from an average student, I became college topper in 5th semester and then university topper in 7th semester and this was the side product of my Youtube channel.

I got 98/100 in Algorithm Analysis and Design and those were the highest in IP university, people started calling me topper, few got jealous that how can I achieve this, I was just an ordinary student. It was all my love for music guys and I never really wanted to top.

After, this I started posting on QUORA and gained around 500K impressions from there and a lot of my followers began knowing me and it was really good time

But I did not get IIT in my first attempt at GATE, and the youtube thing came to a pause, as I started focussing on my goals, as I wanted IIT Bombay and wanted to teach also as it was something which made me feel so good.

And you know, after three attempts at GATE, believing in me, I even cracked many IIT's I am proud of myself. I did not give up on my IIT Dream.

Then, I started guiding students like me who had dream like me to be a part of a TIER1 college, I dont know why I did this, but only one thing that I know is, it is because it felt good helping people and I earned their respect over time.

So I started mentorship, it was unstructured until topmate.io came and I documented my mentorship officially when I got to know about Topmate

Till date I have mentored over 800+ students for diverse fields like DSA, company transition, career guidance, Interview, resume reviews, general mentorship etc.

I think this accolade was well deserved one because, we as a creators also deserve such recognition. There are many people like me who deserved to be recognised yet.

So I thank you all for being a part of my journey and just one advice, always help others selflessly, god has amazing plans, believe in it.
