I wanted to share a recap of the renowned tech beach experiences that were set up at Cannes Lions ‘18 - the big players were Google, Facebook, Spotify, Twitter and Snap and they all created unique festival hubs ??
Google Beach claimed PRIDE and color as core to their brand experience, everything popped color, the pride rainbow flag was up high every single day and the atmosphere was fun, healthy and playful ???????????????♀?????
Facebook Beach & Instagram were all about culture, art and fun! Instagram had built an artistic kinetic capsule installation [check it out here] and Facebook itself hosted a beach experience with fun activities, a swing set and delicious treats ?????????
Twitter Beach was all about social and networking, they had some fun photo ops but you were more there for the conversations ??#????#????
Spotify took the prize for having the best concert scene where The Killers performed one of the first nights and ongoing had a jam packed concert schedule + they had the biggest ever Cannes beach setup ????????????????
Snap had a more artistic take on the experience they created in a beautiful old building on the Croisette partnering with artist Christian Marclay in setting up four immersive storytelling installations to journey through ??????????
Which beach experience was the most creative, and which did you find the most engaging?
