How to Develop A 'Bulletproof Mindset'??

Let me ask you ... 

How confident are you? Do you know and live your purpose? What is your environment like? Do you show kindness to those around you? 

  

Do you ever wonder how some people seem so confident? How some people just seem to know who they are, what they stand for and no matter what happens or who challenges them, they stand by this in a self-assured and seamlessly simple manner. This is because they have developed a ‘bulletproof mindset’. 

From a young age, I was obsessed with mastering my body and in the last 5 years, I have become obsessed with mastering my mind.

I want to share with you the 4 steps to developing a BULLETPROOF MINDSET... 

Step 1: Protect Your Confidence – Confidence comes easily to some and not so much to others. Confidence is also something that can come and go, depending on the situation and how comfortable you may be with a certain skill or within a social situation. When you have a bulletproof mindset, it doesn’t matter what social situation you are in, what the task ahead is and whether you are good at it or not as your confidence within is deep to your core. 

The way you ‘Protect Your Confidence’ is to start becoming the one person that you know you can rely on. This is through making promises to yourself and keeping them. If you tell yourself that you will get up at 5am and go to the gym. Get up at 5am and go to the gym. If you tell yourself that you will read a book a month, then set time aside, and make sure you do it. If you are invited to an event where you don't know anyone and at the start of the week you tell yourself you will go. Make sure you go and speak to two new people. It might be scary, it might be a little awkward, but you'll feel so good after you do it.

Once you start keeping your promises, you will start feeling more confident in yourself and knowing that you can rely on yourself. 

Write a list of things that you would like to start doing (start with only a few, otherwise it could become overwhelming). Put together your action plan and start DOING.

I promise you, you will watch your confidence grow. 

Step 2: Be Aligned With Your Purpose – What is your purpose? What is it that fulfils you? What are your goals and what are you working towards?

Sometimes we can go through a period in our life where we haven’t asked ourselves these questions. When this happens, we tend to drift in no real direction, without achieving the things that deep down we want to. Be sure you stop and understand what it is that you want to achieve, what drives you, what is your purpose. And make sure that the steps you take each day are taking you towards your goal and not the opposite.

When you are living a life that is aligned to your purpose, you have passion, you have drive and you start to worry less and less about the petty things around you, because you know what you are working towards.  

Step 3: Protect Your Environment – Your environment has an affect on you, the way you think and behave. Look around at everyone you spend time with, in all aspects of your life. Are these people a positive or negative influence in your life? Are they helping you or hindering you from achieving your goals? You need to get rid of the negative energy in your life and focus your energy on the positive influences around you.  


Step 4: Give Back To People In Your Life – The first three steps in developing a ‘Bulletproof Mindset’ is all about you. Creating your confidence, finding and aligning your purpose and getting rid of the negative energy in your life.

The fourth step is about giving back to the people that are around you. Showing those around you that you care about them and that you are grateful to have them in your life. Focus on making sure that your friends and family know that you love them, that you believe in them. Use your energy making sure that they feel good about themselves. When we love someone, we should let them know that they are appreciated and lift them up. Do this in your own way. Giving love and appreciation is a fantastic feeling. And when your loved ones feel loved, they will return your love. Becoming a big circle of LOVE!

If you follow these 4 steps, I promise you, you will develop a ‘Bulletproof Mindset’, and when you develop a ‘Bulletproof Mindset’ life becomes limitless!
