How you can effectively convey your message through virtual platforms as a public speaker is a question, I keep on getting asked in my sessions, and let me answer it here again.
I teach this to my corporate clients and I make them aware by doing it in front of them.
?They get mesmerized. I get praise. I am seen as an expert too.
?
In one of my presentations, I remember I used a prop - a lemon, a glass,300 ml water, and a knife to convey an important metaphor for choosing what the audience want in an audience of 100 headcount.
I was overwhelmed with praise post-session. But it doesn’t stop here.
And one fine day an attendee met me outside in a shopping mall where he reminded me about the lemon and the water I demonstrated in the session... He remembered everything and then he revised the points I taught in that presentation. I smiled.
?
?I dramatized it well so that people take an interest and remember it.
?
Hope you understand the importance of a prop virtually.
People remember objects, especially the ones used frequently.
I'd like you to please associate a prop with your message and see the magic.
?
Just one such activity in a complete presentation can bring a lot of effectiveness to your message virtually.
This needs some practice expert flow and some rehearsals too.

I remember cutting a few lemons with a knife to see whether it was getting cut on time and not taking too long, whether the knife was working fine, etc.

Besides, there are more ways and I will touch upon them in next articles.
