How to define the right time to invest

Now is not the right time to invest…

… because the stock market is too high?

… because there is a big recession coming up?

… because I'm moving or changing jobs?

… because I'm getting married, divorced, having a baby, etc...?

… because I'm saving for an apartment

I'll worry about investing later.

Truth be told: this is the biggest hurdle for me. Even if I know everything that I know. And also if I have been investing for years.

Because I know that I could/should do more, and I could do it better. Which is why I am not blaming you for falling for that trap too.

Myth #3: Now is not the right time to invest because…

But here is the thing:?

Starting early and investing as much as possible for as long a time as possible is one of the most essential principles of successful investing.

And that's because the earlier you start, the longer you can benefit from the magic of compounding.?

Compounding is a mathematical formula that gradually accelerates investment returns. And it starts making a big difference after 10 years of investing.

And because we are talking in terms of decades here, you can't really 'catch up' when you start later.?

There will never be a right moment…

And there will always be a good reason to delay investing…

But just know this:

When it comes to investing, starting early will ALWAYS beat waiting forever for the right time.?
