How to deal with stress


Make time for yourself

  • To be productive and creative, make time for recreation and relaxation
  • As people who need to manage large teams and are responsible for the reputation of the company, don't forget to know when to relax


Carry tools to De-stress

  • Improve the air quality by adding indoor plants to your desk or near your desktop at home
  • Keep a water bottle handy. Hydration keep brain alert which facilitates creative thinking and problem solving


Prioritise and organise

  • Clarify and prioritise goals, duties and deadlines
  • Efficiently use calendar and constantly make to-do lists and follow them thoroughly


Walk away

  • It is important to know when to say 'This doesn't support my well-being' and walk away
  • By doing this, your brain will release endorphins that suppress anxiety, increase energy levels and improve mood - all in just 15 minutes


Deep breaths

  • Deep breathing helps increase oxygen flow throughout the body
  • Breathe in slowly through your nose, filling-up your lungs completely and then slowly breathe out through your mouth
  • Repeat this process 5-10 times and before you know it, you feel less stressed out already


Stretch

  • Stretch your neck, shoulders, back or wrists without having to get up from your desk
  • Stretching will loosen up the body and increase blood flow
