Section 2: The computer does not turn on

One of the most frustrating problems is when your computer refuses to turn on. If you have made sure that the power outlet and the cable are working properly, and yet your computer is not responding, the problem is probably with the power supply. The power supply, located inside the computer, receives electricity from the wall socket and distributes it to various components such as motherboard, hard drive and more. Voltage spikes can damage the power supply and cause it to fail. In such cases, it is essential to have the help of a qualified professional to safely replace the faulty power supply (Sometimes you can smell a burnt electrical smell coming directly from the power supply).

Also, if your computer has multiple graphics cards, make sure the monitor is connected to the graphics card correctly and not into the motherboard or vice versa. If you get a display from your motherboards onboard graphics then you may have an issue with your graphics card. In the event that these steps don't solve the problem, it's better to consult a professional technician or your IT administrator to diagnose and solve the problem effectively.
