How CXOs can make time for fitness sessions!

The world is witnessing lots of myths about health, and higher executives are more prone to disorders for a myriad of reasons. Bi-Proficiency is a campaign to bridge the gaps and fix all the loopholes in this regard.

Being at the helm of an organization demands being at the peak of your performance! The tormenting task of countering challenges involved being in charge and accountable for everything means being actively present for the work, around the clock!

This disciplined task of ruthless priority-setting, always prioritizes other tasks first- sliding the personal care much below in the list!

For the CXOs an important task that will boost the energy levels, enhance the confidence, and will make them more productive is breaking a sweat. But unfortunately, for varied reasons, this task is mostly brushed aside.?

Taking note of the situation, team Bi Proficiency started brainstorming some easy ways with which the busy bees can be befitted!

Let’s delve into the details:

  1. Disciplined Scheduling

It might sound simple but this is one of the most challenging tasks. Everything starts with a thought first, and to get into the best form (both physiologically & psychologically) one needs to have a determined thought of making time for fitness sessions.

The fitness time must be scheduled like other priorities.

And once it is locked in your calendar, commit to it, and make your best to follow the routine.

Make it a priority, and if you value your health then you will not miss this priority.??

We mostly miss the things for which we are not accountable to anyone. Ask your fitness trainer to remind and call you because being accountable to other people reduces the chances of a miss.

One can take assistance from mobile apps and other devices like Alexa!

2. Finding the best time

Every person is unique in himself, and so does the preferable timings and energy availability. It has been observed that most fitness sessions are in the morning and all are advised for the morning workout. But many people are not so energetic in the morning, and the situation is aggravated by a hectic schedule.

Well, the timing affects the performance, but it is still good to indulge in some physical activity whenever you get some free time. Because at least you are flexing your muscles and your cardiovascular system is getting a good stimulus to perform better and pump up more energy.?

3. Finding some activity that you like?

Though mentioned previously, it is still worth repeating that all persons are unique in themselves. Different people have different preferences. Some like running, while some are attracted to pumping iron; some might like Zumba & aerobics more, while some are better into yoga; some might like Pilates, while some are at ease with lifting weights. Martial arts and dancing are also preferred by many.

So it is up to you to select the activity that attracts you more. This is important because, if you love your sessions then you are less prone to miss them.???

4. Stealing Time in Between

Well, easy said but hard done! The aforementioned discussion is easy to read but sometimes gets hard to follow- for the work patterns & responsibilities. And things also get more hectic when a new project starts.

In such scenarios, it is advisable to have frequent stretch breaks. This can be done within your office chamber. Several small exercises can be done while sitting on your office chair only. Though they might look ordinary but in the long term deliver extraordinary results. A sedentary lifestyle puts the first impact on the lower body, and most of the home-based simple exercises for the lower body can be performed from office chairs as well.?
