Leverage Your 3 E's to Create Your IKIGAI

Leverage Your 3 E's to Create Your IKIGAI

One of the great joys of my life is helping people get crystal clear why they're here - and then connect their dots forward so they can turn their NOW into an even better NEXT.

What do I mean by that?

Here's an example. I was speaking on this topic for EO - Entrepreneurs Organization.

One of the members came up to me at break and said, "I just sold my company and had a very nice exit. I'm ready to do something else. I just have no idea what that looks like."

I smiled, "I imagine you want something that integrates and leverages what you've done - so you're not abandoning all the skills and knowledge you've accumulated - but you want to do something meaningful and rewarding that gives you an IKIGAI that lights you up?'

"Exactly!"

We ended up working together. To prep for his first appointment, he filled out my proprietary client questionnaire to identify his EEE - the unique and relevant Expertise. Experience. Epiphanies - he was bringing to the table so he could align/integrate that into his NEXT.

He told me, "Sam, I got more clarity in one hour filling out that questionnaire than I had in months of thinking about this."

Next, I asked a series of clarifying questions to identify his V.I.P. - Values. Interests. Priorities. - so we could make sure what we envisioned was congruent with HIS voice and vision.

Steve Jobs said, “You can’t connect the dots forward. You can only connect them backwards.”

Jobs was brilliant, and I 100% disagree.

You're connecting your dots forward right now. You're reading these ideas, getting new insights, and figuring out how you could apply them to your life and work.

You're doing - in real time - what I call CAREER CHESS.

You're thinking ahead - and planning ahead - so you can move ahead.

This is what I help people do.

Clients have included Oprah's Exec. Producer, the Founder of Travelocity, Director of Disney Institute, an Ironman champion, SVP of Apple, two founders of THINX, Director of X-Prize

Are you ready to crystallize a NEXT that lights you up?

Join one of our Clarity Weekends. We have a lot of fun - and get a lot done. Whether you want to clarify your personal or professional future - or a blend of both - you'll always be glad you invested in yourself, figured out your true priorities, and wrapped your life around them.
