How Creatives Unlock "Aha! Moments"
Creativity is the driving force behind everything we do, and as we approach 2025, we wanted to share something different—not just more work or stories about Salta, but tools and insights to help you be more creative.
The results of the survey we launched a month ago is our way of offering our friends (like you) some practical takeaways for your own creative journey. Whether you’re a marketing executive, a copywriter tackling a creative block, or a creative director wondering how others incorporate AI into their process, we hope you'll find these insights valuable in one way or another. But above all we wish you a very creative 2025!
The Creative Zone: Where ideas strike most often?
The shower, during commutes, and late at night are the top contenders. As one participant put it, “Creativity thrives in solitude and movement.”
Brainstorming in Action:
An overwhelming 64% of creatives love brainstorming, seeing it as a powerful tool to spark ideas. However, others view it as a necessary challenge.
“Break brainstorming into two sessions to let ideas simmer in between.”
The Ideal Group Size for Brainstorming:
Smaller groups are where magic happens! 41% prefer 2-3 people, and 51% love 4-5 people. The takeaway? Keep it intimate but dynamic.
One Session or Many?
Most respondents find 2 sessions hit the sweet spot, offering enough time to refine ideas without overthinking them.

AI in the Creative Process:
AI is no longer optional. 35% use it daily or weekly to accelerate ideation, and even those hesitant are curious.
“It’s like brainstorming with a super-smart assistant—it doesn’t replace you, but it makes you faster."
Preparing for Brainstorms:
How do pros get ready? From reading the brief days ahead to diving into movies, exercise, or cooking, creatives recommend setting the stage.
“Let ideas simmer while you go about your life.”
Overcoming Creative Blocks
Feeling stuck is part of the process, but here’s what works:
? Take a break: Go for a walk, sleep, or reset with another project.
? Switch perspectives: Imagine yourself as an outsider solving the challenge.
? Tap into emotions: “Don’t forget the ‘why’—emotions drive the best ideas.”
