How poetic is ChatGPT?

There is no shortage in the use of #AI in researching, collating and analysing all sorts of information. And the use case for that will only continue to exponentially grow.

An often-asked question is how #creative AI can be.

In his book “The Creativity Code: How AI is learning to write, paint and think”, author Professor Marcus du Sautoy defines 3 types of human creativity:

• Exploratory
• Combination
• Transformational

The last point describes those rare moments or breakthroughs that are game-changing.

Will we see machines disrupting and taking over our symphony halls, art galleries and performance theatres – competing with the likes of Mozart, Picasso or Shakespeare?

Maybe a bit far-fetched for now, but OpenAI’s recent release of Sora (check out https://openai.com/sora) might tell us otherwise.

On our part, I thought we could 'dabble' and check out ChatGPT’s #creative abilities. Not exactly game-changing, but just jumping on the bandwagon to have a bit of fun!

Given [i3] Investment Innovation Institute has just celebrated 12 years in business, what better way than to task #ChatGPT to flex its right-brain credentials with a #poetic rendition of our journey.

So here goes:

In the realm where fortunes dance and dreams take flight,

A beacon shines, a symbol of financial might.

The Investment Innovation Institute, a visionary's creed,

Embarks upon its twelfth year, a testament to succeed.

Twelve, a number woven in the fabric of time,

A clock with hands that climb, a rhythm, a rhyme.

Like the hours that pass, i3 has grown,

A garden of ideas, a legacy sown.

Twelve apostles of knowledge, standing tall,

i3's disciples, answering the call.

Learning and growing, evolving with glee,

As twelve years unfold, a grand jubilee.

But then, a storm, a tempest untold,

COVID's shadow, a tale to unfold.

Adversity struck, a fierce, unseen foe,

Yet i3 stood firm, ready to grow.

Just as the clock strikes twelve, a new day,

i3 adapted, found a resilient way.

Pivoting to digital echoed its name,

A beacon of hope, undimmed by the flame.

Like the twelve months that mark the year,

i3 persisted, shedding no tear.

An apostle of sustainability, a leader's guide,

Through COVID's storm, it continued to glide.

Now, as the clock chimes twelve once again,

i3 stands tall, free from the chain.

A celebration of triumph, of lessons learned,

Twelve years and counting, its reputation earned.

So here's to the Institute, a toast in the air,

For the knowledge it shares, the wisdom it bears.
