How To: Creating Custom Pages With Shopify Metaobjects

As part of the summer editions Shopify has released a new feature whereby Metaobjects (released last year) can power pages on the front end. Essentially allowing merchants the ability to build and manage custom landing pages.

You can create any kind of content but as some examples, think of things like store locations, author profiles, FAQ's. Your admin team fill in the Metaobject information and bang, theres a page all designed, templated and formatted correctly on the website.

This is incredibly powerful as functionality and takes away another reason to go headless in my opinion (controversial opinion!).

This feature requires a bit of explanation so I've created a video running through how to set it up utilise the Metaobject information in a number of ways. Bit of a watch at 9 minutes but if you're a merchant or you work with Shopify, this is a 'must know'.
