only a Few Steps to Create a Beautifull Article on Linkedin, After Sign-In
Step 1: Visit Your LinkedIn "Feed" Page
To start, visit your "Feed" page, which is separate from your profile. You can reach the Feed page by clicking on "Home" in the top navigation bar, or by clicking on the LinkedIn logo in the top left-hand corner.
Step 2: Click "Write article"
Once on your Feed page, click the "Write article," which is located under "Start a post." If you click inside the box to create a post, the option to publish an article will disappear. To find the "Write article" option again, exit out of the box that pops up.
Step 3: Add the Headline and Post Body
Underneath the header image, add your headline (title). With the new version of their publishing platform, the 70-character limit for titles has been removed. There is no limit, but I recommend you keep your title brief while working in a couple of keywords.
After adding your title, click in the space below your title and insert the full body of the article.?Scan the post to make sure there are no formatting errors due to cutting and pasting the content from a Word document or other file. Posts will almost always need to be reformatted after being copied over to LinkedIn's publishing platform.
Note:?If the article was previously published, lead the body of your article with a short note. This should be italicized and in the top left-hand corner of the article.
Example:?This post was previously published on?BusywithMoney.com, or First posted on Medium.com.
Step 4: Add a Header Image
Always add a header image to your posts. To add a picture, click in the section shown above and choose the image you would like to upload.
领英推荐
LinkedIn recommends an image size of 698x400 pixels, but most images will work if they are high resolution. You can choose whether to have a standard-sized image or an expanded image that stretches across the browser horizontally.
Step 5: Create/Add your Footer
Content on LinkedIn is available for the world to see, not just those with accounts. Most of your readers won't know who you are, so tell them! Share a short bio at the end of each post you create, and make sure to hyperlink in appropriate places.
Additional Tip: Try leading or ending your footer with a call to action, and consider adding a picture of yourself. In me example below, my call to action is "Want to learn what content you need for your small business??Take NaveensaiRockstar course on Startup Content here on Learn.BusywithMoney.
Step 6: Publish & Share
If you're satisfied with your post and want to share it with the world, click the blue "Publish" button in the top-right corner. After you click publish, the above box will appear. Always add a comment when publishing a post. This will appear in the update feed to your followers. Ex: "Check out my newest article on how to publish on LinkedIn! Have you published an article yet? Share a link, I'd love to check it out." Also, make sure to use the "Add hashtag" option to help readers find your article. I use 5-10 relevant hashtags for each article I publish. For this article, my hashtags will include, a few more.
Tip:?After publishing, look at your post one last time to make sure it is formatted correctly! If it's good to go, you can go ahead and share it on your social media channels.
Congratulations on publishing your first post on LinkedIn! Please feel free to share it below and ask any questions you may have!
