How to Create Urgency to Close the Deal

You’ve got to know how to create urgency. Time kills deals.?

You must build urgency to close the sale.??

It’s been said that the person who asks the questions controls the sale.??

But that’s not true.??

It’s the person who gets answers to the questions that controls the sale.?

There are certain things you need to make a sale.? You need to have a decision-maker.? You need the right product.? You’ve got to know why they need this product.?

You need answers to questions like...??

  • Are you dealing with a decision-maker???
  • Are you on the right product???
  • Do they have the wherewithal to buy??


It is impossible to control the sale without asking quality questions and getting quality answers to those questions.?

You also need urgency to close the deal.? If you don’t have urgency, you won’t close the sale.? Urgency is the difference between buying now or buying later… or maybe never.?

The Urgency Factor is more mental than anything.? We create urgency during the sale and at the close.?

To create urgency, we need to solve a problem.? The single biggest reason someone makes a decision to purchase something is to solve a problem.??

To create urgency, we need to provide relief.? Everybody wants relief.? The higher up the value chain you go with the people, the more they want relief.

But that’s not the only way to create urgency.? You must build urgency into your close.? You create urgency during the close with one magic word.

“WHY?”

To create urgency, we need to handle the “Why.”???

“Why is solving this problem so important?”?

“Why now?”??

“Why would you do this?”

And “Why wouldn’t you do this?”

Asking “Why wouldn’t you do this?” gives the buyer another opportunity to solidify their decision to move forward.?

Always ask “Why?” Ask early and ask often. Make this the rule you live by.

Each time you do, it strengthens the need to buy now.

Use this one magic word and you will create more urgency and close more deals, make more sales and grow your business.??
