How To Create A Simple 3-Offer Business

How To Create A Simple 3-Offer Business

Note: Tuesdays and Thursdays Editions are focused entrepreneurial topics

One of the axioms of my business coaching is that customers and clients don’t buy our product or service, they buy our offer.

Our offer is our promise to fix an urgent pain in a specific amount of time for a specific cost.? Our products and services are just the delivery mechanism for making good on our promise.?

Looking at it that through that lens, our business is just a stack of offers.

We need just three offers in a B2B business:

  1. Core offer - the thing we build our business on
  2. Hand raiser offer - something with enough value for someone with the pain you solve to exchanged their contact info for it. Often called a lead magnet.?
  3. Customer ID offer - an offer that identifies people who are ready to take the next step.?

That’s it. 3 offers. The game is then making each each offer a no-brainer, stupidly compelling offer for the RIGHT customer.?

That starts with the core offer, because the promise of your core offer is the thread that carries three your three offer stack.?If your core offer isn't resonating, none of your other offers will likely product results you want. And even if they do, if your core offer doesn't convert, it will not feel like you are getting where you want.

Then the hand raiser offer takes a piece of the core offer, a bit of value that helps people understand why they might be having the problem and a path to fix it.?

The customer id offer gives them a next step to take to move closer to the solution you provide.?

Then the trick is to have a lead machine that delivers people to your offers every day. First to your hand raiser, then to your customer ID and then to core. Sometimes people will skip right to the Customer ID or core, but most often you need to build trust step-by-step.

In my experience teaches me anything, you usually don't nail the offers on the first attempt. It takes a few swings of the bat to get this offers dialed in. Usually one or more fall flat and you have to keep working at them to get them in shape.?

Here's the the 3 offer stack I'm currently working on for my business:

Core Offer: 2X Accelerator ADHD supportive group business coaching program. The promise is consistent 2X acceleration of your business growth with the goal of adding your next $500k-$1M in sales. Features 2X curriculum trainings, monthly workshops and weekly office hours.

Hand Raiser Offer: "Are you an ADHD Entrepreneur Quiz?" (Working quite well).

Customer ID Offer: I have two currently. My Focus Formula training is a low ticket offer that includes training, co-working support and a 15-minute implementation with me. I also sell admission to 2X Monthly Workshops so people can have a low ticket way to become a customer. If they like the value they get in teh workshops or with the Focus Formula training they can

Daily Lead Machine is currently LinkedIn Ads that and organic content that point people to my Quiz and workshops. Then it's 2-4 emails a week that deliver examples and techniques and give people the opportunity say yes (or no) to my Customer ID offer and Core Offer.

The beauty of this is that I have very specific places I can focus my attention to improve things. Right now there's a couple of places I'm focused on. My quiz is doing well with a 95% completion rate. But the start rate could be better. The second place is converting the customer ID offers at a higher rate - I feel like that offer could be more stupidly good.

If you put MVP's of each offer in place, then it's a just a matter of tuning things up and making each offer in the stack work.

Tomorrow, I’m releasing a stupidly good Friday after Black Friday Offer that will?bundle my 7 core trainings on this offer stack approach. DM if you'd like early access.

The 3-offer stack simplifies the customer journey, but crafting the right offers requires deep understanding of your audience’s needs. It’s worth the effort for the results!
