As the years progress and technology progresses along with it, companies, brands, and businesses alike often find a new way to solve the two problems below:
The most common, if not timelessly efficient, method toward those concerns is content creation.
The problem
Most times, however, businesses and organizations face the problem of running out of ideas of content to post.
Additionally, because the type of content per marketing channel varies, the other problem that exists lies in repurposing content for said outlets; after all, what you post on a blog on your website wouldn’t be the same on Instagram, let alone TikTok.
The reality:
Creating new forms of content isn’t the issue.
It’s posting more content that businesses and organizations face as an issue.
Repurposing content for other channels actually gives you MORE ways to create content rather than bar your ability to create.
Below are a few more creative ways for posting more content on your marketing channels:
1. Experiment with different formats:
If you haven’t already, don’t be afraid to experiment with different content formats, such as video, infographics, and podcasts
Yes, creating and posting blog posts for your website can gain traction for your keyword and SEO strategy, but it is merely one channel to harvest leads from.
What if you created videos (short-form and long-form) and infographics that showcase your business?
According to a study by the Content Marketing Institute , video is the most popular content format among consumers, with 85% of people saying they would like to see more video content from brands they support.
Additionally, a study by HubSpot found that infographics are liked and shared on social media 3x more than any other type of content.

This is the power of influencer marketing, which, essentially, is a testimonial, promotional, and demonstration all rolled into one.
Here are two reasons why businesses should invest in influencer marketing:
1. Increase awareness & engagement
According to a study by the Influencer Marketing Hub , not only can influencer marketing generate an 11x higher ROI than traditional forms of digital marketing, but additionally, 49% of consumers rely on influencer recommendations when making a purchase.
Influencers can also post your content on their channels for you, giving you backlinks to your site and easy conversions from an audience you may or may not have had the ability to reach out to!
2. Cost-effective strategy
Another study by Business Insider found that influencer marketing costs are around $10 per 1,000 views, compared to $35 per 1,000 views for traditional online advertising.
Simply put, collaboration with the right influencers can be most cost effective than a paid advertising campaign.
Bottom line for your content creation and management:
The biggest advantage the right influencer or industry expert can give is the element of humanity toward your content strategy.
Not only can they act as a consultant in your content strategy, but they also can perform much of the content ideas they come up with and post on your behalf — all at a potentially cheaper price than paid advertising!
3. Repost and repurpose your previously posted content
Yep, you read that right.
In fact, you see this all the time digitally with both social media and article postings.
Businesses and brands frequently do this for the following two reasons:
1. The information is still relevant and useful
A business may repost and repurpose previously posted content because the information may still be relevant despite a change in times.
Articles originally posted 10 years ago may be updated yearly to match current times, and videos that may have been posted years ago could be repurposed and cut down into bite-sized short videos to be posted on social media.
2. It performed well in the past
If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it, right?
If the video or post analytically performed well in the past, businesses and brands may repost the content to keep engagement with the current audience and reach out to a larger audience that may have not seen the content initially.
Though there exist plenty of strategies to create more valuable content, following and applying the aforementioned strategies can nonetheless boost your marketing plan for this year and beyond.
That said, because we know there’s more than just the 3 strategies up top, what other content creation strategies do you and/or your business employ?
