A FAMILY LEGACY
Creating a legacy to pass on to your children is a way to ensure that your values, traditions, and family history are not lost. Instead, they are handed down and shared with future generations. Here are a few ways that families can create a legacy that is passed on to their children:
1) Teach your children values
One of the most effective ways to create a legacy is to instill in your children the values that are meaningful to you. This might include things like diligent work, honesty, compassion, and respect. By teaching these values to your children and modeling them in your own behavior, you can help your children internalize these values and pass them on to future generations.
2)?Share family history
Another way to create a legacy is to discuss your family's history with your children. This might include stories about your ancestors, traditions that have been passed down through generations, and significant events or milestones in your family's history. Sharing these stories can help your children feel connected to their family and its history, and it can also help them understand the times in which they are living.

3)?Leave a financial legacy
If you can do so, you can also create a financial legacy for your children by saving and investing in their future. This might involve setting up a trust fund, creating a will, or making other economic arrangements to ensure that your children are provided for after you are departed.
4)?Create a family mission statement
Another way to leave a legacy is to work with your children to develop a mission statement for your family. This can be a statement that defines your family's values, goals, and aspirations. By creating a mission statement, you can help your children understand what is meaningful to you and how you want to positively impact the world.
5)?Spend quality time together
Finally, the most effective way to create a legacy is to spend quality time together as a family. This can involve doing activities that you all enjoy, having regular family dinners or game nights, or simply sharing time with each other doing things that you love. By building strong relationships with your children and making time to be with them, you can create a legacy of love and connection that will last a lifetime.

2 年John Ramstead, CPLC, ACC my favorite on this list is the quality time spent together. We just did a long RV road trip with our 3 adult daughters and 1 ten year old daughter. So much of our own family history created! Great post!
