Yesterday I told you I was gonna share some stuff on how to write a great LI headline, and thinking about it again this morning, made me want to puke
"Gah, another stupid post about writing a stupid LI headline?? What kinda sh*t are you tryin' to pull here, Ryan?!"
What I realized though is that I'm NOT actually gonna teach you about headlines
The headline is simply a vehicle for the much more important lessons of WHY the headlines I'm going to show you work
Simply put, the principles of Influence?
When you know how to get into people's minds, and say what they want to hear, and make them feel good, and give them clarity on what to do, and create DESIRE in them…
Well then hot damn, you can rule the world
Which is actually what this newsletter is about
You, Me, Our kind, ruling the world
Taking the power away from all the lame duck, lyin-cheating, mediocre-idea-spreading weenies and spreading the story WE want to spread
That's where ultimate freedom comes from. Bending the world to our whim through our words..

Let's look at a few before and after examples of LI headlines from clients of mine, then I'll do a bit of breakdown
Don't say I never did nothin' for ya
Before #1:

So you can see how in the first two examples, reading the "after" headline is total mindblowing experience akin to discovering you were actually adopted because you never even knew what that person actually did in the first place
The after statements make it abundantly clear what they actually do as opposed to who they are
And THAT is the difference between a headline that books sales calls and one that doesn't!
The Before headlines are all about "them". They're all about who they are as people, and what their credentials are
But that's the exact opposite of the headline you want
The kind of headline you want, is all about your customer
It's all about who exactly you are working for, what exactly you are doing for them, how you are doing it in a unique way, and what's gonna happen as a result of working with you
It's a complete 180 compared to what you see from most headlines..whether they're trying to sell something on the internet or not!
Remember, that the kind of marketing I am teaching you is not the normal type of social media marketing
The kind of marketing I am teaching you, is the kind that gets results right now and on demand, as opposed to on a whim and randomly
The kind of marketing that most social media gurus teach is indirect. Stuff where you need to spend a year or more to build an audience. Which means posting content every day, and sending out likes and comments for a minimum three hours a day
No, I'm not joking, that's what it takes
So, that's why the After headlines I'm showing you here are so clear, and direct
They're designed so that someone who has never seen or heard about you before, can land on your profile, read your headline, and instantly want to book a call with you
It's not like what big influencers do. It's not like what big media companies do
But we don't care about them or what they do. They're playing a completely different game.?
They're content with word of mouth and referrals and spending all day on the internet
I know you may be on a healthy diet of word-of-mouth and referrals too, but the reason why we're here is so that you can move beyond that. So that you can start scaling and getting customers into courses, and landing whale clients,
It's not easy. And it's not comfortable. But are any of the greatest things in life easy or comfortable to get?
I think not
So, this whopping second edition of the newsletter is already pretty long. I couldn't help myself but get off track there for a minute
But passion takes you when it does. And I hope you at least got a better understanding of why we're doing things they way we are
