Let’s imagine that you need to check how user went through your funnel and the site. In this example, we have a site that sells books and demonstrated part of the book on the site. If user liked it he can click to button and buy it.
2. Copy the scorecard and scroll down from dimension to filter. Add a filter to this scorecard. We need to highlight only article sections. All pages from this section have article in the URL. Thus, in the filter setting, you can select all pages that URLs contained article.?
3. The final step of the funnel is to click on buynow button to buy this article. To track it, you can create a scorecard with event category buynow. You need to choose only unique events to avoid duplicating events for 1 user.?
4. Also, we need to know the conversional rate between all stages of the funnel. People cannot operate by numbers, and they need to understand what this number means in this context. To create a conversion rate we blended data between stages. Click on the final step first and after that press CTR on a keyboard and click to the second stage of the funnel. Thus, when you have two scorecards selected, press the right button of the mouse and select blend data item.
Thus, your funnel is ready to use and present. After that, you need to make funnel's design more comprehensive for stakeholder's presentation.
