HOW TO CREATE CONTENT CONSISTENTLY

HOW TO CREATE CONTENT CONSISTENTLY

Staying consistent in the content game is key to building your brand and engaging with your audience on a deeper level, as content is the life of every thriving brand.?

However, some people are stuck in a creative rut and constantly struggling to come up with fresh, new content ideas for their brand.?They struggle to keep up with a regular content schedule and find themselves staring at a blank page, unsure of where to start or what to write about.?

There are many reasons why people don't create content consistently. In this article, I will explain three common limitations and explore some tried and true methods for creating content consistently.?

1. LACK OF CLARITY?

Every brand must have a transformational message, often known as a brand message. This is a symbol of what your brand represents, and your approach towards achieving your results. Having this knowledge gives you a headstart as it helps you understand your calling, define your message and identify your target audience.?

When your brand message is not clear, confusion is certain.?

How do you create content when you don't know what your brand represents or who you are supposed to reach out to??

This is the foundational cause of your content creation struggles. So if you're struggling to create content consistently, you might want to take a pause and take time to get clarity. Define your message and identify your target audience, from here the process becomes easier.?

2. LACK OF CONTENT IDEAS

It can be difficult to maintain a regular content schedule without a steady stream of ideas. When you can't come up with new and interesting ideas, it can be easy to get discouraged because of confusion.?

To deal with the challenge of a lack of content ideas, here are a few ideas to keep your content fresh, engaging, and consistent.

  • a) Research: The Internet is flooded with information on almost everything. This is an advantage for you so you shouldn't lack content ideas for your brand. You can watch YouTube videos, search for prompts on Pinterest, or read blog posts to learn new things about your niche. While doing this, make sure you have a book where you store the information you gather for future reference

If you want to enjoy a smooth content creation process, create time for researching every day. If you do this for a month, you'll have a truckload of ideas to choose from.

  • b) Have a content bank

A content bank is where you store ideas that pop into your mind at any point in time. When you have a solid bank of content ideas, it makes all the difference in your content creation process. You draw from your list of ideas to create and schedule your content in advance.

Doing this makes it easier for you to generate new content, stay organized, keep track of your content goals and avoid the stress of last-minute content creation.

  • c) Use questions people ask

If you've built authority in your niche to an extent, it's likely that people troop into your asking questions about topics in your niche. Rather than answering these questions individually as that can be time-consuming. Why don't you weave into a content? This way, you can also make reference to such content whenever you're faced with similar questions.?

  • d) Personal stories

When you learn how to use everyday life stories to create content, content creation becomes easier. You don't have to wait for special moments or anything of the sort to come up with brilliant ideas. Be sensitive enough to interesting things that happen at work, when you go on outings, or engage in meaningful conversations.

This is a good approach to spice up your content and make you appear as the face of your brand.

  • e) Behind the Scenes?

Sharing the events that happen behind the scenes of your process, your results and your mistakes is a great way to constantly get content ideas. If your audience isn't interested in your results and accomplishments, show them how you got there.

  • f) Recycle old content

Certainly, you must have old content lying around somewhere. They shouldn't be treated as history simply because you created them in the past. From time to time, you can dig up old content, tweak it a bit and repost it!

  • g) Check out your competitors?

There are brilliant creators in your niche creating high-quality content. It wouldn't hurt if you visit their sites once in a while to see the type of content they are creating. You'll be surprised at the knowledge you will draw learning from others.

This doesn't mean you should copy and paste another person's work word for word. Be creative. You can approach it from a different angle and no one will ever guess you got that idea from a competitor.

  • h) Curate content?

Curating content is a great way to allow your audience to feed from the knowledge of others not just yours. You can share enriching content from a trusted person in your niche with your audience. But make sure you give credit to the creator while doing this so you don't get accused of plagiarism.

3. LACK OF TIME

Having created tons of content over the years, I can tell you that creating high-quality content can be a time-intensive process. It can even be more challenging to find the time and energy to create content regularly when you're juggling other responsibilities, like work, family, school or other commitments.

You need to learn to prioritize and plan your content creation process. Without a clear plan for when and how you'll create and publish content, it's easy to let other priorities take precedence.

Dedicate time to create a content calendar, research, map out and schedule your content in advance. You don't necessarily have to create a lot of content at once. You can break it down into smaller, more manageable bits, so you don't burn out.

Furthermore, you can also repurpose your content. Content comes in different formats like text, infographics, carousels, live videos, podcasts and many others. Be flexible and find different ways to express yourself rather than sticking to one content format alone.?

While trying to build consistency in creating content for your brand, make sure you set realistic goals for yourself and stick to a consistent schedule. This way, your content will be high-quality and engaging, while also fitting into your busy schedule.

Great article! Lack of time is always annoying. We like using the content batching method to stay on top of things and post consistently.
