How to Create a ChatGPT-Powered Commercial Assistant

• Introduction to your markets
• Revenue models
• Competitors
• Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs)
• Personas
• Marketing channels
• Marketing collatera
• Other great knowledge about your commercial offerings.

Transfer these insights into a structured document to have as the headlines.

Step 2: Let's get to work with the initial prompt

Now, you can copy and paste this into ChatGPT and start briefing it about what you are working on. Prompt it some what like this:

You will help me create a document that will be uploaded to a customGPT I'm making that will serve as a commercial assistant. It will contain all the knowledge about #INSERT COMPANY NAME#.        

I will paste in the areas we need to cover, and we will take it one at a time. I will provide you with either links or documents that you will analyse or browse in order to write a chapter for each. I will let you know once you can proceed from each chapter.These are the chapters: ###INSERT YOUR BULLETS###        

Take each chapter at a time, and ensure to feed it files and links with information for each of them.

Progress through the information process gradually with ChatGPT during your prompting.

As you feed ChatGPT with details about your business, keep organising the data into a Google Doc, using your headlines to categorise each commercial aspect. This way, no stone is left unturned, and ChatGPT fully grasps your commercial operations.

Step 3: Now we build the custom GPT!

If you did well, you will now have a Google Doc with something between 5-50 pages (maybe more?).

Now, you will just need to export this treasure trove of information into a PDF file, and start making a customGPT (only available for paid plans).

Now it’s just a matter of prompting your GPT very simply through the GPT builder interface, and tell it something like:

"You are a capable commercial assistant that has all the commercial knowledge about ###YOUR COMPANY###. In this file, all the information is available that you will need."        

Upload the PDF file with all the knowledge, let it configure itself and follow it's instructions. You can always fine tune it and update the document

Congratulations - you now have your own commercial assistant.

You can now prompt your Commercial GPT as you usually would, but without the need to add a lot of context about your company because it knows already.

If it’s confidential material - don’t upload it. Because you never know what will happen with it. What if a competitor reverse-engineered it, can your company live with that? You can restrict public access, but I would still tread carefully, and you newer know how it's trained.
